Common-Carrier Era Bolts from Pilot of Locomotive #16

Own a piece of history! These 15" long bolts were installed during the common-carrier era of the East Broad Top Railroad on steam locomotive #16. 

16 was returned to operation in 2023 after 67 years of dormancy. During restoration efforts the front pilot of the locomotive was not disassembled, so the bolts were the originals from the common-carrier era of the railroad. During recent restoration efforts and inspection in 2024, the pilot was dissasembled and new bolts were installed. These original bolts are now available for you to own!

Comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Master Mechanic David Domitrovich.

Please note: These bolts are the originals, and as such are coated in a fine layer of film/grease/oil/coal/etc from regular wear and tear. These items are not meant for re-use, but for the true East Broad Top / railroad collector. Limited quantities available.
