OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY! This is the common-carrier angle cock from the tender of Steam Locomotive #16, built in 1916 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia, PA. The angle cock is believed to be the one installed when air brakes were installed on EBT equipment, and was in use on the locomotive from 1916 until 2024, when it was replaced during recent maintenance efforts.
This item measures 9.5 inches x 7 inches x 3 inches, and weighs several pounds. This item is meant for the true East Broad Top Collector to own, and is not intended to be re-used. Comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by EBT Master Mechanic David Domitrovich.
